Songs Illinois Plus

Songs Illinois Plus is the pay subscription offering by the people behind Songs:Illinois and Swedesplease (i.e. me). This venture is a new way to receive music. As I see it the biggest obstacle to someone looking for great new music is time involved searching the web to find it. There's not enough of it, is there? If you have time to search all the label sites, band homepages, blogs, MySpace pages and p2p networks then more power to you. If not read on.

The service is simple, there are no copy, transport, sharing restrictions on the mp3's (in fact it'd be great if you'd forward some of them to your friends). It's legal, so no guilty conscience and it helps the bands by exposing them to new knowledgeable fans.

So, how does Songs Illinois Pluswork? Simple really. For a set monthly or yearly fee (typically $50 a year) we'll deliver between 3-5 mp3's a day to your inbox. The music will be mostly brand new and will consist of all the music you know and love from Songs:Illinois and Swedesplease. There'll simply be more of it and it'll be delivered to you each and every day in your inbox. Plus a whole lot more; more of the artists you love and the new ones you're missing out on, more new release news, contests and artist updates/tour schedules.
